History

Clair was incorporated in 1989 by Allan J. Clair. With an extensive background in building safety and community development services, Allan saw a need for high quality third-party plan review, inspection services and code consulting in the Pacific Northwest during a period of rapid economic and population growth. He put together a talented team of code consultants who have become an integral part of the region’s development. The original core values of community safety, creative problem solving and client satisfaction continue to guide everything we do here at Clair.
